Lover to Lover

Scarf: Thrift Shop | Body: Leg Avenue | Trousers: Sirens | Heels: Aldo | Nail Polish: Last Friday Night by OPI

Last weekend when I decided I wanted to wear this brightly coloured scarf in my hair I came to the realisation I have practically nothing that it goes with nicely. Naturally, I decided to go with an all black outfit. The overall look was inspired by two of my biggest fashion influences with my hair inspired by Amy and my outfit inspired by Audrey.

Beehive Love

Like I mentioned in my last post, I love doing beehives at this time of year. Over the years, I've accumulated a nice little collection of scarves and nearly all of them are from various thrift shops. They're actually one of my favourite things to search for at those shops! You can find all sorts of patterns, fabrics, and sizes for between (usually) 50 cents and $2.

'Don't you worry, get dressed' cried my mother

Hello lovelies, I realised today it has been roughly two weeks since my last post. I'm planning to address the reason for my absence in another post soon, but the important bit is that I'm back and have some new posts I'm working on!

To start, here is a relatively recent outfit I've been meaning to post.

Trousers: Sirens | Top: Forever 21 | Heels: Aldo | Earrings: eBay | Temporary Tattoo: C/O DCER | Nail Polish: Evening Seduction by China Glaze

This was a recent attempt at a rocker chic look. Not sure how well the whole 'rocker' vibe came through, though. I paired my black skinny trousers from Sirens with a flowy black top from Forever 21 which I absolutely love! I wasn't a huge fan of the drop hem trend that was uber popular last year, but I love this interpertation of it with a cut out back and low cut neckline.

I also wore my black platforms from Aldo and my infamous anchor earrings from eBay which somewhat unintentionally matched my little temporary anchor tattoo from DCER. I opted for slightly messy hair, lots of black eyeliner, dark nails, and an understated lip to complete the look!
