Spelt Breadsticks

As some of you may know by now, I love baking. I often make breadsticks (sometimes with cheese, as above, sometimes just plain with a bit of rock salt to have aside a meal), but I always use white flour. I decided to do something a little different last time I made them! I used spelt flour (as I use in many of the muffin recipes I love) and I think they turned out quite well. I may have baked them for a few minutes too long, as I was having a hard time telling whether they were done, but overall they came out well and were super easy to make (as always!).

  1. Mmm these looks so yummy! What's your recipe?

  2. I have a post all about how I make them here: http://itsabbeykarson.blogspot.ca/2012/07/recipe-fave-bread-sticks.html

But for the ones in today's post, I used 3 cups of spelt and just over 1 cup of water (rather than 4 cups of white flour and 1 1/3 of water). The rest of the recipe was exactly the same as the one in the link above, though. :) x
